Little man’s first Halloween was a bit of a bust. Let me say that we did have lots of fun dressing him up for events leading up to the day but on actual Halloween things did not quite go as planned. On Halloween night Max slept through the party we had been invited to so we did not go. Then he woke up super grumpy which made handing out candy not very enjoyable. So, we ended up putting him bed to early with no costume time at all.
We did get to dress him up as a baby dragon for a costume birthday party we attended a couple of days before Halloween. He was adorable but it was so hot that he ended up needing to take the costume of pretty quickly.
Baby Dragon
We took Max to a costume party at The Little Gym where we go for classes every week. It was so much fun. Their were zoo animals of all varieties as well as fictional animals like Dragons. There was an adorable baby Elvis there that was just too cute. Max was a giraffe for that party.
I am hoping his second Halloween goes a bit better!

Yes, adorbs, for sure. And I promise, he will appreciate halloween next year so much more. For the candy, not the costumes. I’m hoping that comes next year.
